David has been involved in various aspects of the real estate business for the past 28 years. For the 14 years prior to forming EMERALD, David was employed by some of the most prominent developers and owners of commercial real estate in the country, including the Trammell Crow Company, Spieker Properties, Pacific Retail Trust and Regency Centers – since 1996 as Vice President/Regional Operating Officer for a portfolio of shopping centers that grew to 15 properties and over 1.7 million square feet in Washington and Oregon. In the course of his career, David has been involved in everything from site/project analysis, acquisition and construction; to leasing, investment sales and asset management. David is a Principal in EMERALD COMMERCIAL, LLC and has been instrumental in establishing a strong foundation for business development and enhanced services, both for EMERALD’s preexisting customer base, as well as for the significant relationships that have been established since the formation of the new company.

Frank joined the predecessor to EMERALD COMMERCIAL (ECIM) in February of 1999. From 1999 up until the formation of EMERALD COMMERCIAL in December of 2000, Frank worked closely with the Principal of ECIM in acquisitions, sales, leasing; and essentially took over the management of a portfolio of approximately 400,000 square feet with an eye toward acquiring the company. That original managed portfolio now comprises a part of the over 1.5 million square foot portfolio currently managed by EMERALD COMMERCIAL. Frank has also been involved in securing commercial properties and forming real estate syndications to acquire them. Frank’s high level of integrity and experience in finance and operations are a tremendous asset to both the company and its clients.

David has been active in the real estate business since 1991. His 15 years of real estate experience have been both in property management with Morris Piha Real Estate Services and as Managing Member of a family real estate investment company. Over the course of his career, David has managed a full spectrum of commercial property types including office, retail, industrial, apartments, mini storage and condominiums and has been directly involved in the acquisition and financing of real estate. David is a principal in EMERALD COMMERCIAL, LLC and brings with him the strong fundamental business skills and high service ethic that he has developed through his significant and diverse experience in the real estate business.

Tonya is our Project Accountant at EMERALD COMMERCIAL. She has an extensive background in commercial real estate accounting and we are very proud to have working with us. Her past employers include the City of Seattle where she was part of a team that managed a 62 story tower in downtown Seattle, CB Richard Ellis and Cushman Wakefield. Tonya has a strong commitment to personal and professional excellence which she has demonstrated during her time as part of the EMERALD COMMERCIAL management team.

Savoeun currently manages the front office, while providing support primarily to the property management division of EMERALD COMMERCIAL. Her experience is derived from her employment with a non-profit organization where she compiled a database of clients and planned events. Savoeun’s work experience also includes eight years of retail, including five years of management, mainly with national clothing chains. Savoeun has attended Edmonds Community College and Pacific Lutheran University and she continues to work towards her Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration/Accounting.

Ron comes to EMERALD COMMERCIAL with many years of experience in the building management field. He has overseen major tenant improvement projects and has been consistently effective in addressing the maintenance needs of some of Downtown Seattle’s prestigious commercial tenants. The diligence and personal care that he brings to each assignment, big and small alike, is a proven asset to our maintenance team.
